Growth mindset and Curiosity
Embodying these skills help us support our critics and take us forward
Growth Mindset
A concept coined by psychologist Carol Dweck, is the belief that abilities and intelligence are not fixed traits but can be developed over time through dedication, learning, and effort. In contrast, a fixed mindset views abilities as static and cannot be changed. People with a growth mindset tend to embrace challenges and persevere in the face of setbacks.

Benefits
Embodying a growth mindset is adopting a learning-oriented attitude, embracing effort, seeking feedback and learning from it, reframing failure, cultivating self-awareness and staying curious.
With this mindset we are more open, setbacks don’t hold us back and we actively seek opportunities to learn and grow.
Develops core skills:
resilience, confidence, growth, perserverence, elf-egulation, curiosity, adaptability, intrinsic motivation, open mindedness, collaboration, creative thinking
This is great to combine with types of thinking as it helps us to identify what kind of mindset we are in. It is natural that we will move between types of thinking. But identifying what thinking we are using when facing a challenge or soemthign new can help us to reshape it into a more open attitude, allowing us to embody the growth mindset adn identify moreoptions and opportunities
